Frequently asked questions

Plain answers to the questions we hear most at our three Las Vegas stores.

Is a mailbox address a real street address?

Yes. When you rent a mailbox at Ship Las Vegas, your address is the store's street address with your box number as the suite — not a P.O. box. Use it for shipping, receiving, and official mail.

Can I drop off a prepaid package?

Yes. We accept prepaid drop-offs for USPS, UPS, FedEx, and SpeedX / VintedGo labels. Just bring your labeled package to the counter and we will send it on its way.

Do I need an appointment for a notary?

No appointment is needed, but notary availability varies by store — so call your Fort Apache, Commerce St, or Nellis store first to confirm a notary is on duty.

What do I need to rent a mailbox?

Bring two forms of ID — one must be a photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport — and sign USPS Form 1583 at the counter. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
